deep inside the history

There are certain theories behind how the name of our city evolved but there is a story which have been widely believed that the founder of city Muhammad qulii qutab shah fell in love and married a local girl named bhagimati and named the city bhagyanagar.Hyderabad was founded less than 500 years ago.quli qutab shah founded the new city of Hyderabad on the banks of river musi in 1591 and shifted his capital from the previous city Golconda due to water shortage problem.after shifting the capital the king ordered the construction of the monument charminar.the word charminar means four minarets resembling the structure of the monument.not many people know the story behind the cause for the construction of the monument.i will continue my insight in history of pearl city in my next post
